Your Gateway to Jacksonville
Many consider North Jacksonville the city's new frontier, and it's not hard to see why. With many other areas of town reaching their development peaks, North Jacksonville is poised for takeoff. Easy access to other parts of the city and points north, waterfront views, and plenty of undeveloped land are just a few of the reasons that developers and home buyers are beginning to take note of North Jacksonville.
From the Nassau County border down to the Trout River, North Jacksonville encompasses a large land mass. The Jacksonville International Airport and Jacksonville Zoological Gardens are located in this region, which benefits from easy access to I-95, I-295, and 9A. Residents can easily commute to Downtown, Arlington, or the newly expanded Kings Bay Submarine Base in nearby Kings Bay, Georgia.
Water views are everywhere, between the St. Johns River, the Trout River and the Nassau River to the north. Sisters Creek Marina, the home of the BellSouth Greater Jacksonville Kingfish Tournament, is located in this region, as well as many other local fishing spots.
There may be limited re-sales in North Jacksonville, but the many new subdivisions provide a variety of housing styles and price ranges in new construction. Pine Lakes Golf Course is one of the newer developments in North Jacksonville, providing lovely new homes in a country club setting at an affordable price.
